A German language camp was held in Tamil Nadu from June 16 to 22, 2017. Two of our students from grade 9 attended this camp. The camp focusses on learning language skills through games and activities and workshops. The students also enjoyed a visit to the tiger reserve.
A second German camp, held from June 30th to July 6th in Sri Lanka was attended one of our Grade 10 students.
There were different German language workshops at this camp and also a host of extra-curricular activities including sports, excursions, karaoke and dancing for which sessions were held every evening. One day was spent in the wildlife reserve where they observed elephants and crocodiles in the wild.
Three students from grades 9 and 10 were shortlisted and selected for the PASCH scholarships this year. They got an all paid, 3 week German language training course in Dresden, Germany. The course trains students for the A2 level examination. There are excursions organised during the course to introduce students to cultural and daily life activities in Germany.
Students interacted with other students from different PASCH schools around the world. They learned German history through field trips and excursions and also had a taste of the food culture in Germany by trying out various foods on the campus.
